Welcome to Osceola Middle School

Osceola Middle School is proud to serve the Ocala community with a tradition of excellence that spans more than a century. Our beloved school first opened its doors in 1925 as the third home of Ocala High School. In 1956, the campus transitioned into a junior high school, and in 1963 it received the name we cherish today—Osceola Middle School. Since then, it has continued to grow as a cornerstone of education, unity, and pride for Marion County.

Working alongside our families and community partners, we are committed to inspiring students to reach their personal and academic potential and to become productive, compassionate, and successful citizens. At Osceola, we focus on differentiated instruction, an engaging and challenging curriculum, and learning experiences that build on students’ backgrounds while sparking curiosity and discovery.

Our history, traditions, and strong community ties make Osceola Middle School a symbol of excellence. We look forward to continuing this legacy with you and your family.
